The value for money at this hotel was outstanding. We booked multiple rooms for our group and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable rates. The location was also a major plus, as we were within walking distance of popular shopping areas and delicious eateries. the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond, offering personal recommendations for sightseeing and even accompanying us on a day trip. Truly outstanding service!
While the hotel had many positive aspects, there were a few drawbacks. The mattresses in the rooms were quite firm and not the most comfortable.

The hotel is in the old district. Everything met needs. We will be returning here soon & would definitely recommend it to all. A wide array of restaurants to eat close by, like kem caramen duong hoa that was only 15 minutes' walk away...

Excellent room for the price. Large, clean and classy. Desktop computer in the room is a real plus, and the internet connection speed's not bad by Vietnamese standards. Top notch bathroom too. The breakfast was the best free breakfast I had on my trip, in a field of many free breakfasts and the rooftop terrace offered a welcome relief from the relentless chaos of Hanoi, without having to be indoors. Unique in that regard. Good spot.
The hotel's driver who picked me up from the airport, spent the entire journey on the phone to his girlfriend. Not exactly professional, or safe. Not that they care much about road safety in Vietnam, or professionalism. The other negative can probably be applied to almost any hotel in Vietnam: getting your money out of you any way they can is the number one priority. In this instance they charged me an arbitrary fine on checkout for paying part of my bill with a 500,000VND note that had the tiniest nick out of the side of it. Ridiculous. It was my last day in the country and this was the only cash I had left, so I had no choice but to pay up. I would still stay there again at a push, but the staff left a bitter taste for sure.

Had a free upgrade to a deluxe room upon arrival, without asking for it. Also, receptionist was extremely helpful and proactive and offered to book a taxi to the airport for the following day.
Hotel needs a refit. WIFI in room didn't work at all (signal too weak). Location is just slightly outside the Old Quarter.

Stayed at this hotel 2 times. Very clean, staff very good and rooms comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. I would stay again if i returned to Vietnam. Thanks for a great stay
Make sure that when you book you ask for a room with a window as alot of vietnamise hotels have a number of rooms without windows.

The staff here were absolutely fantastic - so polite and helpful. They even organized our Halong Bay tour and let us store our bags while we stayed on the boat. The hotel is well-located, close to the market, restaurants, and bars. The breakfast, served on the top floor, offered a fine selection. The cleanliness of this hotel was impeccable.
Was all great, no complaints.

Rooms were light and airy, clean and trendy. The staff were delightful.
My only complaint was the lack of a shower, at least in my room, don't know about the other rooms, they may have had showers. There was only a bath tub with a retractable shower head, which was too short to be an effective shower. The whole washing process was a pain!

We liked walking into the Old Quarters -The Lake is the centre point. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and so clean and access to cable tv for international news was a bonus .. not to metion the computers available for free use..
It is a big walk to the action but only 40 dong in taxi.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel, with a prime location near the lake and Trang Tien Plaza. the view from our room was breathtaking, and we enjoyed breakfast in the hotel's beautiful restaurant every morning. the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, storing our luggage during a Halong Bay tour and Sapa homestay trip. Our spacious room and bathroom were spotless, with excellent amenities like a TV and phone. We highly recommend this hotel for its value, location, and exceptional service.

We only stayed in The Time Hotel for one night. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. As we had to leave very early in the morning, the Cook came in early to serve us breakfast. Very Very much appreciated and many thanks Ido and Lena Christchurch New Zealand

The Staff were very friendly and helpful (one of them bought me a sim card). Before coming, Ms Hahn sended me an email to tell me that I had to take a jacket because the weather was fresher than the days before ! The geographical situation is great (10 mn at feet to Hoan Kiem lake). The breakfast is really good (noodle soup or, I didn't taste it, english breakfast !). Don't hesitate !
I had a tub and the shower head was too short... Nothing really horrible ! The wifi in the the room didn't work, but there are 3 computers in the entry of the hotel and there, it's ok (slow... But it's the same in others hotels or cyber cafe) ! These 2 "remarks" are really not important !

Can't fault the staff. All were fantastic and so polite and helpful. Organised our Halong bay tour and let us keep our bags there whilst we stayed the night on the boat. Breakfast served on top floor which is nice. Fine selection but we arent fussy. Fine location - very close to market, restaurants and bars.
Nothing to complain about.
